
In the Spring 2018, more than 2,700 manufacturing professionals gathered at the inaugural Smart Manufacturing Experience at the Boston Convention Center hosted by SME. With more than 150 exhibitors, the Smart Manufacturing Experience featured three keynote presentations, 40 technology-focused conference sessions, 130+ event floor education sessions, a mixed reality experience, and more.
SME hired Mower for a five-month project contract for public relations assistance to drive attendance and pre- and post-event coverage of this new event. As part of the team, I managed media relations and pitching, press release development, social media strategy, and byline drafting.
